A charming bistrot next to the most beautiful bougainvillea in Athens. Everything that the attentive and sophisticated waiter brought us was delicious. Exquisite Sauvignon Blanc and top notch creme brulee. We will definitely come again ❤️
Absolutely loved my experience at Chez Lucien! The food was delicious, every dish was full of authentic French flavor and beautifully served. The wine selection was amazing and perfectly paired with the meal. The service was warm, attentive, and professional, making the evening even more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere adds to the charm, Can’t wait to come back again soon!
On a cool September night, a colleague and I had dinner at Chez Lucien. It as incredible!!! Rich onion soup, warm French bread, perfectly seasoned chicken and scalloped potatoes were served with a friendly attentiveness. If this restaurant were in Miami, I would be there once a week.
The best affordable little French restaurant in Athens, we’ve gone back more than 3 times 🥖 The onion soup is my fave
Nice little French bistrot in a charming Athenian neighborhood. Nice interior and nice side walk setting to enjoy your dinner Friendly atmosphere, excellent service and great flavors. Perfect French baguette & herbed butter on start. Delicious onion soup, tasty salade Chevre Chaud, the duck equally tasty and excellent entrecôte with fries Nice Crème Brûlée Very nice french wines at reasonable prices French music at the right volume so you can have a conversation Limited seating so you must book in advance
Nice little French buffet. Very good French onion soup. Other dishes average to good. Nice Crème Brûlée. Ok service. No famous Greek hospitality. No treats at the end.
We were introduced to the Petit bistro by a food critic. The atmosphere was nice, Christmas spirit as it should be these days. The wine list is decent. The terine was fine accompanied by a fresh green salad with a marvelous sauce. So was the bread. The onion soup was ok although we would expect it a little thicker. The tartar was tasteful with the same green salad as side dish. The Entrecote sauce cafe de Paris that followed was a disaster! Although the meat was correctly prepared the sauce was red(?) dripping transparent orange grease! The sauce ingredients were visible but nothing to do with the original. And as if this was not enough the pomes frittes were burnt! The kind lady offered to replace them with new ones which were indeed ok. I cannot imagine how a chef jeopardizes his own and the restaurant's reputation by sending these dishes! Please visit one the french restaurants either in the back of the American embassy or near the Kitsiki Park to taste the relevant. The creme brulee was excellent! The bill was fair!
Probably one of my favorite restaurants in Athens. The food was very tasty, our favorite was the entrecôte. the service was very good as well, our waitress was very helpful and smiling the whole time. The prices are very fair. The restaurant is located in a very nice area. Highly recommended. Will definitely visit again.
